Job Description

Southern Rural Water is currently seeking an Asset Integration Coordinator (AIC) to support the integration of new and upgraded assets into SRW’s operational and asset management systems. If you are a problem solver with a passion for improving processes, this could be the perfect role for you!

The AIC plays a key role as the conduit between Asset Management, Asset Systems, Capital Delivery and Operational teams, ensuring a seamless transition of assets from delivery to operation. As the AIC, you will be responsible for working with the Asset Systems team to define integration and operational requirements through the project gate development process.

In collaboration with Project Managers within the Capital Delivery team, you will ensure that Asset Integration Plans (AIPs) are developed, endorsed, clearly communicated, and completed to support sustainable asset performance and operational readiness.

As the Asset Integration Coordinator, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordination of asset integration activities, including data collation, communication and handover to operational teams of all capital works.
  • Ensuring that asset data for all capital works are included in the Asset Management System and GIS mapping systems.
  • Managing areas of identified risk within all areas of responsibility, including notification to management.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy and completeness of asset information to support asset creation, operation, maintenance and disposal processes.
  • Advise and support the Project/Program Managers to achieve completions obligations for the project/package.

About you

The successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate some of the desired experience and abilities below:

  • A sound understanding of asset management principles and capital delivery processes, including construction activities.
  • Proven ability to work with a high level of accuracy and adhere to tight timeframes.
  • Demonstrated history of showing initiative in solving problems and identifying opportunities to enhance processes and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally and collaboratively with customers, contractors, and colleagues at all levels.
